Male Mixed Breed (Small)/Chihuahua named Gilbert available for adoption

Gilbert may be a senior, but don’t let his age fool you—this little guy still has plenty of spunk! He loves a good walk in the sunshine, followed by a well-earned nap on a cozy bed. Snack time? Oh, that’s his favorite part of the day!

While Gilbert is mostly a laid-back gentleman, he takes his home security duties seriously and will let out the occasional boof to remind the world he’s still on the job. But at the end of the day, he’s all about the simple pleasures—warm sun, soft beds, tasty treats, and a loving home. He loves car rides, cuddling up to his favorite person watching tv, and laying in sunny spots on the floor or couch.

Gilbert has lived with cats in the past, and is able to coexist with them, however he can be cautious at first of their behavior. He really prefers to be the only dog in the home and outside, as he has strong feelings about other dogs and doesn't want to interact with them nicely.
